Designed for ease of use, in some instances you do not even need to handle the software or make connections to the bike !

A simple ride for :

  • Quick checks at every service,
  • Inspection of part exchanges,
  • Quick diagnosis of customer complaints,
  • Using manufacturers’ diagnosis systems (e.g.: SDS).

It only takes two minutes to load the bike, attached automatically, fit the extractors on the ramp and lift it. Now you can drive practically as if you were on the road! Without touching the computer! Safe from the dangers of the traffic, speed traps, bad weather and wind noise in your helmet.

Simple driving curves with instantaneous power readings are obtained without touching the IT equipment. The engine speed can be displayed, as above, but it is not essential. Simply accelerating, as shown here, will give the curve and show the maximum values achieved. The screen shows the history of the run for analysis.

Nevertheless the sensations the technician feels are very close to those felt on the road (the high inertia roller simulates bike’s weight and the brake simulates the wind resistance, very usefull for manufacturers diagnostics system like SDS, HDS ...). In other words a typical bike test : power, gearbox, transmission, clutch, engine sensations, acceleration, closed throttle cruising, blue fumes (oil smoke), suspension testing, etc. A few results obtained from the software (power, speed, etc) and the shape of the curves completes the quick test.

This ultra simple utilisation saves a lot of time, avoids having to go out in bad weather and reduces the need for road testing.

Transmission : detection of clutch slipage, of abnormally high losses ; gear box check (thanks to the strong inertia of the roller).

Engine power test for :

  • Part exchanges / used bike sales,
  • Bike enthusiasts… (a new service).

On the basis of full power acceleration with the addition of loss and slip tests it is only necessary to enter the bike engine type into the software to obtain, with great accuracy, the corrected power according to the standards used by the manufacturer (EC crankshaft for example). The engine power diagnosis is then confirmed. The software displays three power curves : crankshaft, wheel and roller. Using the transmission losses the technician can then identify any other faults.

The printout has space for a logo for your advertising… the test bench also contributes to your image promotion!

Simple driving with external equipment connected to diagnose special points.

Some commercial testers (exhaust gas analysers, ignition testers, etc) can be used when the bike is under load. Used in this way they provide invaluable data to the technician for diagnosis.

The test bench enables this under-load situation to be created in the workshop.

Diagnosis, engine settings, injection, development… For these operations accuracy is important and all the possibilities of the software can be used.

Accurate measurement, “top quality”.

Power curves for the customer, accurate comparisons between tests made at different times, between different machines, etc… may require “top quality” accuracy.

«Top quality » necessitates slippage calculation and engine speed measurement.

The power figures can be displayed at the roller, at the wheel or at the crankshaft, with EC or DIN corrections for comparison with the manufacturers figures.

Simultaneous multiple measurements on one or two graphs.

Curves showing power, torque and fuel mixture (either from the O2 sensor or by 4-gas analysis) are displayed on the same screen.

For engine tuners, other measurements (exhaust temperatures, positive and negative pressures, flows, etc) can be displayed at the same time on two different graphs.

The software enables the data to be output in the form of curves or lists in formats that can be exporte.

Carburation : the brake can be used with an exhaust gas analyser for all types of mixture testing : light throttle settings for good driveability, stationary running and changing speeds, as well as the quest for maximum performance.

Injection : mapping with commercial tuning ECUs… the test bench software enables the various engine speed steps to be programmed.

Previous diagnostic tests can be displayed on the screen as a diagnosis or tuning aid.

The measurement and test configuration procedures are automatic : no more headaches caused by overcomplicated software !

Scooters : automatic transmission testing and adjustment.

Simultaneous measurement of engine speed and road speed can be used to make fine adjustments to the CVT to optimise performance or economy.

The curves displayed can be used to set the CVT with the engine speed close to maximum power or maximum torque depending on the type of engine, the result required and the type of scooter use.
